At this stylist’s very core, Linde May is first and foremost a sculptor. From her love of the raw and primitive use of clay to her extensive background in 3D metalsmithing, it came as no surprise when she left the Art Institute of Philadelphia and made the switch from a budding graphic designer to a hairstylist ready to put her hands to work. Inspired by the hairstyles of the early punk era, a wild experimentation of cuts and colors played a defining role in her coveted techniques of creative color and razor cutting today. Linde May’s main passion for men’s grooming through the mastery of scissor and clipper cuts not only built her a loyal set of clientele of thirteen years and counting, but also earned her the unwavering status as one of the top in-demand stylists here at Modify.

A decade-long veteran of the salon industry, Kat’s extensive career has taken her across the country. From the rich and vibrant way of life in NOLA to the scenic twists and turns of the west coast, her personal hair odyssey overflows with endless inspiration and cements her caliber not just as a prominently known stylist - but furthermore as a tastemaker. This important role took the Rocket Science Beauty Bar in NOLA from a little known salon to a full service hair mecca, with clientele visiting from all over for their hair styling needs. Now based in the City of Brotherly Love, Kat keeps Modify’s clients coming back for more with her skill set in precision cutting, curly hair methods, balayage techniques, and seamless color blending.

As a graduate of the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute, Robert took a leap of faith to forego his previous communications degree to satisfy his creative yearning for the pursuit of all things hair. Crediting the all-female groups and rock & rollers of the sixties along with inspiration from nature, Robert’s eclectic influences have lead him as a top requested stylist for balayage services, layered cuts, creative colors, and lush blowouts. His dedication to maintaining the integrity of every client’s hair through proper education and formulation of products stem from his rigorous training at the Jean Madeline Aveda Institute in Queen Village. Very much the Modify social butterfly, Robert’s natural inclination to help others combined with his superior level of professionalism has allowed him to gain the trust of even the most skeptical clients to step out of their comfort zones and go for bold changes beyond their wildest imagination.
